Let me start by thanking you for stopping by to read. I am so scared, upset, and feeling forgotten right now. I am a single father with two young kids. 6 months ago i was part of a corporate restructuring, and with barely a day's notice I was laid off. I couldn't believe they would do this to me after all of my dedication and hard work, but I immediately filed unemployment and began a job search I expected to take a couple months at the time. This is the same time that the economy has decided to collapse. My poor kids are scared to ask to go and do anything now. They are just so precious, and I don't have family or friends that are able to assist in paying rent for February. it's February 2nd today, and the grace period is February 3rd. My rent is $1545, and I have 2 months left on my lease. I can ill afford to get evicted as that would just put me and the kids on the street. I can hardly sleep thinking about this all the time. I can't find a part-time job these days, because no one is hiring. I am wishing for a miracle and if anything I have unloaded my situation that can calm my nerves for a few.
